The Journal of Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management (JIRKM) is an official publication of the Society of Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management Malaysia (SIRKOM). JIRKM is a refereed journal published annually; dedicated to the exchange of the latest research and practical information in the field of information retrieval and knowledge management.
Aims and Scopes
The journal publishes original research and case studies by academic, government and business contributors on all aspects of theory, algorithms, and experiments that concern search, storage and retrieval of text , image, audio, video and other such data, knowledge management tools, techniques and technologies,knowledge creation and sharing, best practices, policies and guidelines.
Writing for JIRKM
Contributions to the journal should be based on original research in the areas stated in the Aims and Scopes. The journal publishes manuscripts written in English or Malay.
The journal aims to be an academic journal. Therefore, contributors are encouraged to submit original articles which deal with current and specific aspects of information retrieval and knowledge management.
